Capturing Memories at the North Idaho State Fair
As a family photographer based in Idaho, one of the highlights of my year is the North Idaho State Fair. Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to take photos at the fair, capturing the vibrant energy and joyful moments that make this event so special. This year's fair is just around the corner, running from August 16-25, We will be there every day with my family and our animals!
The Magic of the Fair
The North Idaho State Fair is a treasure trove of photographic opportunities. From the colorful rides and games to the livestock shows and delicious food stands, every corner of the fairgrounds is bursting with life and excitement. It's a place where families come together to create lasting memories, and I love being able to capture those moments through my lens.
Last Year’s Highlights
Last year’s fair was unforgettable. I had the chance to photograph so much of what the fair had to offer: children’s wide-eyed wonder as they experienced their first carnival ride to the pride of young participants showcasing their hard work in the livestock competitions. These are the kinds of moments that make the fair so special, and I was honored to capture them.

You will find us either in the rabbit barn, goat barn, draft horse barn or poultry barn or walking about the fair. My son will be selling tickets at the entrance.
